Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Computer Networking, Cyber Security, or related field from a regionally accredited institution. DoD Approved 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification or higher. Two years of full-time work experience in Computer Networking, Cyber Security, or closely related field. Two years of experience teaching or training in an IT environment.

Documented experience with Microsoft Office (what applications and years of use). Documented experience with different operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, or UNIX).  Include which systems and years of use.

USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking an Cybersecurity SME III to work out of a downtown office in support of SMC/RNT at Peterson AFB and the Distributed Mission Operations Center – Space (DMOC-S) at Schriever AFB.

The Cybersecurity SME will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining cybersecurity requirements for both deployed and in-development systems and networks and employ the Risk Management framework process to assess, gain, and maintain authorization of systems through the design and implementation of system security controls and the creation and submission of System Security packages through Air Force, and the Defense Intelligence Agency. The Cybersecurity SME will conduct vulnerability scans and remediate findings; implement, maintain, and monitor host-based intrusion protection/prevention software; report anomalies, alerts, unauthorized activity, and any cyber events or incidents; support cyber incident handling operations to minimize potential loss, compromise and destruction of data and restoration of services; and perform additional duties as assigned.

 Specific Requirements:

Typically has seven to fifteen years of related technical and/or managerial experience. Candidate shall possess appropriate certification per DoD 8570.01-M for IAM Level 1 or higher. Must hold a Top Secret Clearance (active within the past 18 months).
