Local Training

Many on-line resources are available to professionals in Information Security. While these online sources are often very useful, sometimes in-seat, instructor-led classes are more desirable. This page provides local Colorado Springs area sources for in-seat training – both within the local community and training provided by your Colorado Springs ISSA Chapter. On this page, we announce training opportunities, and current training registration is provided in the Calendar links on the Home page. If you need additional info, shoot an email to training issa-cos.org. Note: The Colorado Springs Chapter of the ISSA does not endorse any of the commercial training courses which may be listed listed here. They are listed only for the convenience of those seeking training.

“Mini Seminars”

Mini-seminars are designed to provide members an opportunity to learn something new, and earn a few CPE/CEUs, at no cost.  Mini-seminars provide continuing education, professional collaboration, and career broadening for members.  They’re also a great opportunity for members to share their knowledge and experience with other members of the Chapter, and gain experience as a speaker, by volunteering to present a topic.  Mini-seminars are generally held on a Saturday, from 9am – noon, and announced on the Chapter Calendar (this web site) and to chapter members via email. Please refer to our “Continuing Education”, under the “Training” tab in the menu, or jump directly there by this link.
